Personal Membership FAQs
What is Aurea Nova?
Aurea Nova is a network for ambitious, action-taking professional women. We create space for genuine connection, career progression, and personal fulfilment, without clichés or pretence.
Alongside individual memberships, we deliver development programmes, which can be funded by individuals or organisations.
Who is Aurea Nova for?
We support women at every stage of their journey:
-
Rise: For professional women who want to connect, learn, and grow at their own pace.
-
Ascend: For professional women who want to make the most of Aurea Nova with extra sessions, 1:1 coaching, and access to premium events and development opportunities.
-
For organisations: We partner with employers and students’ unions to build inclusive, high-performing cultures through women’s leadership and development initiatives. You can explore the full corporate offer on our For Organisations page.
Which membership is right for me?
-
Choose Rise if you’re looking to build confidence, community, and career momentum with access to the Aurea Nova Book Club and Network Meetings included, and the option to join additional online sessions at member rates.
-
Choose Ascend if you’re ready for a deeper level of growth. You get all the benefits of a Rise Membership, with the addition of 1:1 coaching, additional curated online sessions, and priority access to premium experiences and leadership initiatives.
If you’re not sure which tier is right for you, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
What’s included in membership?
A full breakdown of membership benefits can be found on our Memberships page.
How do I join?
You can apply online via our Memberships page. If places are full, you’ll be able to join the waitlist and be first in line when new spaces open.
Can organisations sponsor personal memberships?
Yes. Employers can sponsor individual memberships on behalf of their staff or student leaders. You can pay directly or, if you would prefer to be invoiced, please contact us.
We also work directly with employers to build inclusive, high-performing cultures.
What development programmes do you offer?
Our leadership development programme, Elevate, is designed specifically to meet your career stage, from student leaders through to senior executives. You can find full details on our Workplace Network and Development page.
Are events included in membership?
Aurea Nova Online Networking Meetings are included in both Rise and Ascend memberships. From time to time, we also run premium or in-person experiences that may have an additional cost. We’ll always make it clear what’s included and offer members preferential rates where applicable.
This approach helps us keep membership rates as accessible as possible, while giving you the flexibility to align your Aurea Nova journey with your specific professional interests.

Where are your events and programmes held?
We run a mix of online and in-person sessions. In-person events are primarily UK-based (often in London), while our online formats ensure accessibility wherever you are.
Can members host sessions or speak at events?
Yes. Many of our best sessions come from members sharing their expertise or leading discussions.
If you’d like to contribute or host a session, you can express your interest once you’ve joined.
Do you have community guidelines?
Yes. All members agree to follow our Community Principles, which set out how we maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. You can read them in full on our website.
Is Aurea Nova women-only?
Yes. Aurea Nova is intentionally a women’s network. We create space to address the cultural, structural, and personal challenges women often face in their careers from maternity and caring responsibilities to confidence, visibility, and progression. By recognising the full picture of women’s experiences, we empower members to turn challenges into strengths and ambition into achievement.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time before your renewal date to prevent it renewing for another year. By joining Aurea Nova, you commit to a 12-month membership term, and fees for that period remain payable even if you choose to cancel part-way through. In line with UK consumer law, you also have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you join, during which you can cancel for a full refund, provided you haven’t accessed any member resources, events, or benefits. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.
