Personal Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Aurea Nova Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) and our members (“you”, “your”). By purchasing or renewing a membership, you agree to these terms.
1. Membership Agreement
-
Membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred.
-
You must be aged 18 or over and based in the United Kingdom to become a member.
-
Membership begins once payment has been received and confirmed by us.
-
Your statutory cancellation rights are explained in Section 4.
2. Membership Types & Benefits
-
Aurea Nova offers two personal membership options, Rise and Ascend, designed to support women at different stages of their personal and professional growth.
-
Each membership has its own set of benefits and pricing, as outlined on our Memberships page. These published details form part of your agreement with us. Your level of access to events, workshops, and resources will depend on your active membership type.
-
We may occasionally update or enhance membership benefits to improve the overall experience or reflect new services, and any such changes will be communicated clearly in advance.
-
Memberships are available to individuals aged 18 or over and based in the United Kingdom.
3. Payments & Renewals
-
Membership fees are payable in advance according to your chosen billing plan, monthly or annual. All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
-
Your membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before your renewal date. If you wish to cancel, you can do so at any time before renewal to avoid future charges.
-
It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details remain valid and up to date. If a payment cannot be processed, access to your membership benefits may be paused until the issue is resolved.
-
Where an annual plan is chosen, the full fee is payable upfront at the time of joining or renewal.
-
We reserve the right to adjust membership fees periodically to reflect changes in costs or services. Any fee changes will only apply from your next renewal date, and you will receive at least 30 days’ notice before any change takes effect.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
-
Membership fees are non-refundable once paid, except where required by law.
-
You may cancel your membership at any time before your renewal date to prevent further payments. Your access to member benefits will continue until the end of your current billing period.
-
Event or workshop tickets that involve an additional charge are refundable only if Aurea Nova cancels or reschedules the event. We cannot offer refunds for non-attendance or unused benefits, and entitlements do not carry forward beyond the current membership term.
-
Choosing a membership type that does not suit your needs does not entitle you to a refund or transfer. Please review the details on our Memberships page carefully before joining.
-
If you purchase your membership online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. You may cancel within this period for a full refund, provided you have not accessed any member-only content, events, or benefits.
By choosing to access member benefits immediately after joining, you acknowledge that you waive this 14-day cancellation right. -
All refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
-
If you believe a refund has been applied incorrectly, please contact hello@aureanova.co.uk so we can review your request.
5. Events and Access
-
Some events are open to all members, while others may be limited to specific tiers (Rise or Ascend) or corporate participants.
-
Access requirements will always be made clear at the point of booking.
-
You must hold the correct active membership at the time of any event to attend.
-
If you book a ticket for an event not included in your membership tier, your booking may be cancelled without refund.
-
We reserve the right to change, reschedule, or cancel events where necessary.
-
Most Aurea Nova events take place within the United Kingdom. Online access is available wherever possible, but in-person event availability may vary by location.
6. Conduct and Termination
-
Members are expected to uphold Aurea Nova’s Community Principles at all times.
-
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund if behaviour breaches these principles, is discriminatory, disruptive, or otherwise undermines the experience of others.
-
Members are also expected to:
-
Participate fully in sessions or activities they register for; and
-
Minimise external interruptions (such as calls or meetings) during Aurea Nova sessions to maintain a high-quality experience for all.
-
7. Pricing and Changes
-
Membership fees may change from time to time. Any change will take effect from your next renewal date.
-
We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any fee changes, usually by email.
-
Promotional or discounted memberships may revert to the standard rate after the initial term.
-
We will notify members of any material changes to these Terms; continued membership after notification constitutes acceptance.
8. Liability
-
Participation in Aurea Nova events and activities is at your own risk.
-
Aurea Nova is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury except where required by law.
-
We are not responsible for:
-
Indirect or consequential losses;
-
Outcomes resulting from the implementation of training, mentoring, or coaching advice; or
-
The acts or omissions of third-party venues, speakers, or suppliers.
-
-
Members remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.
9. Data and Privacy
-
We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
-
Your information will be used only to manage your membership, deliver services, and communicate updates related to Aurea Nova.
-
For full details on how we protect your data and your rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy available on our website.
10. Guests
-
Members may be able to bring guests to certain events, where stated at the time of booking.
-
Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct and for ensuring they follow Aurea Nova’s Community Principles.
-
Guest places may be limited and are not guaranteed.
-
Guest tickets are subject to the same cancellation and refund terms as member tickets.
11. Accessibility
-
Aurea Nova is committed to making its memberships and events as accessible and inclusive as possible within the UK.
-
If you require materials in an alternative format (such as large print, screen-reader compatible documents, or other reasonable adjustments), please notify us as early as possible, and no later than 7 working days before the relevant event or activity.
-
We will make reasonable efforts to provide adjustments, subject to feasibility and advance notice.
-
Some specialist adjustments may require additional cost or coordination, which will be agreed in advance.
12. Force Majeure
Aurea Nova shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and resume delivery as soon as possible.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
-
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
-
Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
